非エンジニアがAIで開発した社内専用PDFツール ― 約1時間で実現した安全な業務改善

このたび当社では、日常業務で頻繁に発生するPDF操作を、より安全かつ効率的に行うことを目的として、AIを活用した社内専用PDFツールを開発・導入いたしました。

An AI-Built In-House PDF Tool Created by a Non-Engineer in About One Hour

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new secure, AI-powered in-house PDF processing tool designed to improve daily operational efficiency.

Notably, this tool was created by a non-engineer administrative staff member using AI, in approximately one hour. This initiative demonstrates how AI can empower on-site staff to quickly transform real operational needs into practical solutions, even without specialized programming expertise.

All processing is completed entirely on the user’s local computer. No files are uploaded to the internet or external servers, making it safe to handle confidential and sensitive documents. The tool continues to operate offline, clearly proving its secure, local-only design.

Key features include PDF splitting, merging, compression, page extraction, deletion, and reordering. No installation is required, and the tool can be launched simply by opening an HTML file from a shared folder.

Through initiatives like this, we will continue to promote practical, secure, and staff-driven DX efforts that enhance productivity while protecting critical information.

社内ポータルサイト運用開始のお知らせ

このたび安西工業では、DX推進の一環として、4言語（日本語・英語・タガログ語・セブアノ語）に対応した社内ポータルサイトを開設し、運用を開始いたしました。

ポータルサイトの目的と特徴

新たに立ち上げたポータルサイトでは、以下のような機能を備え、情報共有の精度向上と業務効率化を目指しています。

  • 重要なお知らせの一元管理
  • 全社共有情報のタイムリーな発信
  • 外国人従業員への多言語対応
  • スマートフォンやタブレットに対応したレスポンシブ設計

本サイトはレスポンシブ対応となっており、スマートフォンやタブレットからでも快適に閲覧が可能です。これにより、いつでもどこでも会社からの連絡事項を確認することができます。

今後、全社的な連絡・告知は原則として本サイトを通じて行ってまいります。

多様性に配慮した情報環境の整備

グローバル化が進む中で、安西工業では多国籍な従業員が安心して働ける環境づくりを重要視しています。今回のポータルサイト開設は、その一環として、言語の壁を超えた情報伝達の実現を目指すものです。

公式Facebookページ開設予定のお知らせ

さらに今後は、外国人従業員の皆さま、そしてそのご家族やご友人の方々に向けて、安西工業の公式Facebookページを開設する予定です。

このページでは、因島での仕事風景や日常の様子、地域行事などを発信し、社員の皆さんが地域に根ざして安心して生活されている様子をお届けしてまいります。

今後も、社員一人ひとりが必要な情報に迅速にアクセスできる体制を整え、より良い職場環境と地域とのつながりを大切にしてまいります。

As Part of Our DX Initiatives: Launch of a Multilingual, Mobile-Friendly Internal Portal and Upcoming Facebook Page

As part of our DX (Digital Transformation) initiatives, we are pleased to announce the launch of our new internal portal site, now available in four languages: Japanese, English, Tagalog, and Cebuano.

This portal serves as a centralized platform for important announcements and company-wide updates. It offers multilingual support and a responsive design, enabling employees to conveniently access information from smartphones or tablets—anytime, anywhere.

In addition, we are planning to launch Anzai Industry’s official Facebook page to share updates not only with our international employees but also with their families and friends. The page will highlight daily life, work scenes, and events in Innoshima to help build a stronger sense of connection and trust.

We remain committed to advancing digital innovation while fostering a more inclusive and transparent workplace environment.

重井小トランペット鼓隊60周年記念行事に出席いたしました

2027年1月17日（土）、因島の重井小学校にて「重井小トランペット鼓隊60周年記念行事」が開催されました。弊社代表・安西が本行事に来賓として招かれ、心温まる式典に参加いたしました。

重井小トランペット鼓隊は、60年もの長きにわたり、地域に音楽の喜びと感動を届けてきた伝統ある活動です。安西自身も小学校5・6年生の頃に団員として演奏した経験があり、今回の節目の行事への参加は個人的にも深い思い入れのある機会となりました。

安西は、母校への感謝の気持ちを込めて、平成22年にトランペット18台を寄贈。また、楽器の修理費用や60周年記念写真集の制作費などに対しても継続的な寄付を行っております。こうした支援は、地域の子どもたちが安心して音楽活動に取り組める環境づくりの一助となっています。

2027年春には、150年の歴史をもつ重井小学校が閉校を迎えることもあり、今回の60周年記念行事は、地域にとっても大きな節目となり、多くの関係者にとって忘れられない時間となりました。安西工業は今後も、地域とのつながりを大切にし、次世代を担う子どもたちへの支援を続けてまいります。

Attending the 60th Anniversary Event of the Shigei Elementary School Trumpet Band

On Saturday, January 17, 2027, Shigei Elementary School in Innoshima held a commemorative event celebrating the 60th anniversary of its trumpet band. Our company president, Mr. Anzai, was invited as a guest of honor.

The Shigei Trumpet Band has been a cherished symbol of the local community for six decades, bringing music and inspiration to generations. Mr. Anzai, a former band member during his 5th and 6th grade years, shared a deep personal connection with this milestone event.

In 2010, Mr. Anzai donated 18 trumpets to his alma mater and has since supported the school’s music program through funding for repairs and the production of a commemorative photo album. His contributions have helped sustain an environment where children can enjoy and grow through music.

As Shigei Elementary prepares to close in the spring of 2027 after 150 years of history, this anniversary event marked a heartfelt farewell and a tribute to the school’s enduring legacy. Anzai Industries remains committed to supporting the local community and the next generation.

【生活をサポート】外国籍従業員の安心のために「楽天モバイル契約会」を実施

このたび、当社では外国籍社員の皆様の日本での生活の安定に寄与すべく、社内および協力会社の外国籍従業員を対象に、「楽天モバイルSIM契約会」を実施いたしました。

【実施概要】

  • 目的：通信手段の確保による生活・業務環境の安定

  • 対象：外国籍従業員

  • 実施方法：オンライン説明会（タガログ語・ベトナム語対応）＋対面契約会

  • 契約人数：23名（全員契約完了）

  • 対象工場：弓削工場、瀬戸田工場、重井工場

　

【実習生に寄り添った実施のポイント】

  • 多言語サポート：日本語に不慣れな方々が安心して手続きできるよう、タガログ語およびベトナム語による説明会を実施しました。

  • 視覚的配慮：楽天モバイル社作成の英語チラシを活用し、視覚的にわかりやすく情報を伝達しました。

  • 専門的支援体制：楽天モバイルのスタッフと連携し、複雑な契約手続きもスムーズに対応しました。

大きなトラブルもなく、全参加者が安心してSIM契約を完了することができました。
なお、今後は岡山工場、関東工場、岩城造船を対象とした契約会を順次実施予定です。

今後も実習生や特待生の方々が「異国の地で働く不安」を感じることなく、安心して生活・就労できるよう、必要なフォローと心強い支援を継続してまいります。

Rakuten Mobile SIM Contract Session Held for Interns and Special Trainees

We are pleased to report that we recently held a Rakuten Mobile SIM contract session for our international employees, including interns and special trainees from both our company and our partner companies. This initiative aims to support the stability of their daily lives in Japan by securing essential communication tools.

Event Overview

  • Objective: To ensure a stable living and working environment through secure communication access

  • Participants: Interns and special trainees

  • Format: Online briefing sessions (in Tagalog and Vietnamese) followed by in-person contract support

  • Number of Contracts: 23 (all completed successfully)

  • Plants Covered: Yuge, Setoda, and Shigei Plants

Key Support Measures

  • Multilingual Assistance: Online briefings were conducted in Tagalog and Vietnamese to help participants complete procedures with confidence.

  • Visual Support: Official English-language flyers from Rakuten Mobile were used to clearly convey key information.

  • Expert Collaboration: In cooperation with Rakuten Mobile staff, we ensured a smooth and supportive contract process.

Thanks to this support system, all participants were able to complete their contracts without major issues and with peace of mind.

We plan to hold similar contract sessions at our Okayama Plant, Kanto Plant, and Iwaki Shipyard in the near future.

Going forward, we remain committed to providing dedicated support so that our international interns and trainees can live and work in Japan without anxiety, and with full confidence.

■ Mグレード更新審査からHグレードへ

7月末、瀬戸田工場では建築鉄骨に関する「Mグレード更新審査」に臨み、無事に合格を果たしました。現場では数か月に及ぶ準備が行われ、社員全員の努力が結実した結果です。
営業を統括する中村常務は、この経験を通じて「次なる挑戦はHグレード」と語り、社員教育の強化と技術力の底上げを呼びかけています。

箱崎常務は、Mグレード審査を通じて日々の取り組みの成果を実感するとともに、Hグレード取得には技術向上と人材育成が重要であり、「仲間と共に挑戦を乗り越えよう」と力強く呼びかけています。

今号では、瀬戸田工場で活躍する2名のキーパーソンを特集しています。

  • 瀬良 泰隆さん：建方、運搬、指導と多彩な業務をこなし、全体の流れを見渡す“オールラウンダー”。団結力の重要性を語る姿が印象的です。

中国・Bodor社を訪問し、世界最先端のレーザー加工技術と現場文化を体感した報告も掲載。「人と機械の調和」という考え方が、今後の現場改善へのヒントとして紹介されています。

DXを成功に導く鍵とは ― 危機感・抵抗勢力・生成AI活用に学ぶ変革の実践（びんごデジタルラボEXPO参加報告 ）

2025年10月30日に開催された「びんごデジタルラボEXPO」に参加し、特別講義「ITツールで“楽して儲かる”“儲かる体質”へ進化させる変革とは」に登壇されたフューチャリスト友村晋氏のお話を拝聴いたしました。

本イベントは、地域の中小企業を対象にしたデジタル推進のための展示・講演イベントであり、最新のITツールやDX事例が多数紹介されました。

なかでも、特別講義「ITツールで“楽して儲かる”“儲かる体質”へ進化させる変革とは」で登壇されたフューチャリスト友村晋氏の講演には、大きな感銘を受けました。

講演の中では、組織変革に必要な危機感の醸成と、抵抗勢力への対応策、さらに生成AIを活用した守りと攻めのDX実践まで、現場で直面する課題に即した数々の知見が示されました。

1. DXの本質は「危機感」と「変革」

友村氏は、「DXとは単なるデジタル化ではなく、生き残るための組織変革である」と定義されました。そして、その第一歩には“健全な危機感”が不可欠だと指摘されます。

日本では、「今はなんとかやれているから大丈夫」と現状維持に甘んじる企業が多く存在します。しかし、その思考こそが、変化の激しい時代において大きなリスクとなるのです。

2. コッターの変革8段階に学ぶ「抵抗勢力」との向き合い方

DX推進の過程で必ず現れるのが、社内の抵抗勢力です。
「セキュリティが不安」「コストがかかる」といった“もっともらしい”理由で変化を拒みますが、その背景には危機感の欠如があります。

このとき参考になるのが、ハーバード大学のJ.コッター氏が提唱する「変革の8段階モデル」です。

  • 第1段階：危機感の醸成
    → 「このままでは会社が生き残れない」という現実に直面させる。

  • 第3段階：必要性の明確な伝達
    → 感情論ではなく、数字・固有名詞・体験談・一次情報を使って説得する。

これらの段階を踏むことで、抵抗勢力にも変革の必要性を理解してもらい、組織として一枚岩になることが可能となります。

3. ChatGPTを活用した「守り」と「攻め」のDX実践

DXの成功には、日々の業務に「具体的な変化」を起こすことが欠かせません。友村氏は、生成AIであるChatGPTを用いた守りと攻めのDX実践例を紹介されました。

守りのDX（業務効率化）：

  • 議事録作成・要約： ZoomやTeamsと連携し、会議記録を自動生成。ChatGPTが要点を即座に整理。

  • 社員トレーニング： ChatGPTの音声モードを活用し、面接練習やロールプレイングの相手として機能。

攻めのDX（売上向上）：

  • 失注案件の自動抽出： Gmailデータを解析し、過去の案件情報を一覧化。

  • 営業自動化： AIが開封率や反応を分析し、最適なタイミングで営業アプローチを通知。

これらの事例は、単なる便利ツールの活用にとどまらず、経営インパクトを生む変革の武器として生成AIを位置づけたものです。

4. 「下りエスカレーター」に乗っていないかを自問する

講演の終盤、友村氏は企業経営の視点として「下りエスカレーターに乗っていないか」を問う重要性に触れられました。

一生懸命に走っても、状況が良くならない。
そんなときは、現状維持ではなく大胆な方向転換や事業再設計が求められるサインです。

「変わらないこと」のリスクを見極め、未来を選び取る判断力が企業には必要とされているのです。

5. 無知の無知から脱却し、学び続ける組織へ

日本は「大人が勉強しない国」とも言われています。変化が早い現代において、知識の更新を怠れば、それは「無知の無知」となり、気づかぬうちに競争力を失う原因となります。

台湾の元IT大臣の言葉にあるように、

「生涯学び続けない人は生き残れない」

という時代がすでに到来しています。

安西工業では、今後も変化に対する健全な危機感を持ち、学びと実践を重ねながら、DXを通じた企業価値の向上に取り組んでまいります。

Driving Successful DX: Urgency, Resistance, and the Power of Generative AI

At the Bingo Digital Lab EXPO held on October 30, 2025, futurist Mr. Susumu Tomomura delivered a compelling talk on digital transformation (DX) as a means of survival—not just digitization. He stressed the importance of cultivating a healthy sense of urgency, warning against complacency.

Referencing Kotter’s 8-Step Change Model, he highlighted how internal resistance is natural but must be overcome through clear, data-driven communication of DX’s necessity.

Mr. Tomomura also introduced practical DX applications using ChatGPT, from automated meeting summaries to AI-driven sales follow-ups. These “defensive” and “offensive” DX examples show how generative AI can both streamline operations and uncover new business opportunities.

Finally, he urged companies to assess whether they are on a “downward escalator”—running hard without moving forward—and called for lifelong learning to avoid falling into “unknown ignorance.”

第2回生成AIセミナー開催報告 ― AIを味方に、業務効率化への一歩

2025年10月24日、安西工業では「第2回生成AIセミナー」を社内向けに開催いたしました。今回も講師を務めてくださったのは、地元・因島の司法書士であり、「AI仕事丸投げエキスパート」としても知られる村上裕紀先生です。

村上先生は、法律の専門知識に加え、最新のAI技術を業務に取り入れることで高い効率化を実現されています。セミナーでは、社員の習熟度に合わせた丁寧でユーモアあふれる解説が好評で、前回に引き続き、今回もあっという間の2時間となりました。

第1回のセミナーでは「はじめてのChatGPT活用セミナー」と題し、生成AIの基本とChatGPTの活用方法について学びました。
第2回となる今回は、Google社が提供する「NotebookLM」の実践的な運用方法に焦点を当てました。特に、社内マニュアルの作成や情報整理といった実務に直結する内容で、受講者からは「実際の業務にすぐ活かせそう」といった声も多く聞かれました。

実際に、第1回以降、徐々に社員がAIツールを業務に取り入れ始めており、社内でもGoogle Workspaceの導入を進めるなど、さらなる業務効率化に向けた取り組みが動き出しています。

今後も安西工業は、デジタル技術の活用を通じて、社員一人ひとりの業務環境の改善と、企業全体の生産性向上を図ってまいります。

 

2nd Generative AI Seminar: Embracing AI for Smarter Workflows

In October 2025, Anzai Industries hosted its second internal Generative AI Seminar, led once again by Mr. Hiroki Murakami—a judicial scrivener from Innoshima and a self-proclaimed “AI Work Delegation Expert.”

Mr. Murakami combines his legal expertise with practical AI applications, helping professionals streamline their work. His seminar, known for its thoughtful pacing and humor, was well received, with time flying by for participants.

Following the first seminar, which introduced the basics of generative AI and ChatGPT, this second session focused on the use of “NotebookLM” by Google. The session highlighted its potential in tasks such as internal manual creation and knowledge management—areas of immediate relevance to our company’s needs.

Since the first seminar, employees have gradually started integrating AI tools into their work, and we are preparing to implement Google Workspace to further enhance operational efficiency.

第7回 安西工業ゴルフコンペ開催報告 — 晴天のもと、無事終了しました

2025年10月12日（日）、恒例の「安西工業ゴルフコンペ」を無事開催いたしました。

当日は台風の影響が懸念されておりましたが、幸いにも天候に恵まれ、青空の下でプレーを楽しむことができました。大きな事故やけがもなく、全参加者が無事にラウンドを終えることができたことを、心より嬉しく思っております。

本コンペには多くの皆様にご参加いただき、また、数多くの協賛企業様からの温かいご支援を賜りました。この場をお借りして、厚く御礼申し上げます。皆様のご協力により、今回も大変和やかで有意義な時間を過ごすことができました。

7th Anzai Industry Golf Tournament Successfully Held under Clear Skies
On October 12, 2025, Anzai Industry held its 7th annual golf tournament, a well-loved tradition among our partners and employees.

Despite concerns about an approaching typhoon, the event was blessed with beautiful weather. We are pleased to report that all participants completed their rounds safely and without injury.

We extend our sincere thanks to all the participants and the many corporate sponsors whose generous support made the event a success. Your contributions helped create a warm and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day.

経理DXに向けて一歩前進 ― 定例ミーティングを通じて見えた課題と解決策

先日、経理業務の効率化とアプリ化をテーマに、DX推進に関する定例ミーティングを実施しました。

ミーティングの概要

今回のミーティングでは、次のような観点から現状の課題を洗い出し、改善策を検討しました。

  • 複数人が同じデータを入力している業務の見直し

  • 人的ミスを減らすための自動登録機能の導入検討

  • 最終確認のみ人の目で行う効率的なワークフローの構築

これにより、業務全体の作業負担軽減と正確性の向上を目指しています。

目指すゴール

  • 経理部門：日ごと・月ごとの出入金状況を即時に把握できる体制の整備

  • 工場部門：「工事台帳」アプリを通じたアプリ集約と、予算と実績の一元管理の実現

今回のミーティングでは、部門間の連携強化とデジタル化の方向性が明確になりました。最終目標達成に向けて、あと一歩という段階まで進んでいます。

今後も継続的に改善を重ね、DX推進による業務改革を加速してまいります。

A Step Forward in Accounting DX – Issues and Solutions Identified in Our Regular Meeting
We recently held a regular meeting focused on driving digital transformation in our accounting operations.
The team reviewed current processes to identify overlapping data entry tasks and explored automation options to reduce manual input—leaving only final checks to human reviewers.

Our Vision:

  • For Accounting: Build a system that enables immediate access to daily and monthly financial data

  • For Factory Operations: Centralize all operational apps into a unified “Project Ledger” to manage budgets and actuals more effectively

The meeting clarified the direction of our DX efforts and strengthened cross-departmental collaboration. With the final goal nearly within reach, we remain committed to continuous improvement through digital innovation.

「しまなみビーチフェス2025」開催報告 ― 地域と共に歩む安西工業の挑戦

2025年7月、しまなみエリアを舞台に開催された「しまなみビーチフェス」は、今年も大盛況のうちに幕を閉じました。2日間で延べ15,000名を超える方々にご来場いただき、音楽・マリンスポーツ・花火・グルメが融合する特別な時間を共有することができました。

このイベントは、プロウェイクボーダー内海康次郎さんの「海と地元を盛り上げたい」という情熱と、弊社代表の安西の「地域に貢献したい」という強い信念 が重なって生まれたものです。単なるお祭りではなく、地域の誇りとして未来に受け継がれるべき伝統行事へと成長を続けています。

また、今年も多くの企業様から多大なご協賛をいただきましたことに、心より御礼申し上げます。ご協賛・ご協力により、ステージ演出、飲食ブース、花火大会など、イベント全体のクオリティを大きく高めることができました。

来年に向けては、暑さ対策や駐車場の改善、海外選手の参加拡大など、新たな挑戦に取り組んでまいります。安西工業はこれからも「地域と共に歩む企業」として、皆さまとともに未来を築いてまいります。

Shimanami Beach Festival 2025: A Celebration of Community and Partnership

In July 2025, the “Shimanami Beach Festival” once again brought excitement to the Setouchi region, attracting more than 15,000 visitors over two days. The event combined music, marine sports, fireworks, and local cuisine, creating unforgettable moments for all.

This festival was born from the passion of professional wakeboarder Kojiro Utsumi and the unwavering commitment of our president, Mr. Anzai, to contribute to the community. What began as a small initiative has now grown into a tradition that embodies the pride of the region.

We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to the many corporate sponsors who supported this year’s event. Your contributions greatly enhanced the overall quality of the festival—from stage performances to food stalls and the spectacular fireworks display.

Looking ahead, we aim to further improve the festival with measures such as enhanced heat protection, better parking, and inviting international athletes. At Anzai Industry, we remain dedicated to walking alongside our community and building a brighter future together.
