因島の未来を中学生と語り合う ― 地域の明日を担う若い世代との対話から見えた「持続可能な因島」への道筋

本日、弊社は尾道市立因島南中学校および因北中学校で実施されたキャリア教育授業に参加し、地域の未来を担う中学3年生の皆さんと「持続可能な因島」をテーマに熱のこもった対話を重ねました。10年後、20年後、50年後の因島の姿について語り合い、地域の現状と課題を共有する中で、私たち地元企業としても多くの学びと刺激を受けた一日となりました。

「持続可能な因島」への未来予想図

対話の核心となったのは、10年後、20年後、50年後の因島がどのような姿になっているかという壮大なテーマでした。生徒たちは事前学習で因島の未来について考えを深めており、私たちとの対話を通してその考えをさらに具体化していきました。

因島の現状と向き合う真剣な議論

未来を語るためには、まず現在の状況を正しく理解することが不可欠です。授業では、因島が直面している人口減少や高齢化といった課題と、豊かな自然環境、世界に誇る造船技術、温かいコミュニティといった強みの両面について率直に話し合いました。

「人が島に集まる流れをつくる」― SHIMANAMI Beach FESに込めた企業理念

今回の授業では、弊社の地域活性化への具体的な取り組みについても生徒たちに詳しくお話ししました。因島の活性化を目指し、より多くの方に島の美しい海や自然の魅力を知っていただきたい、そして何より「人が島から離れるのではなく、人が島に集まる流れをつくりたい」という強い想いから、弊社は「SHIMANAMI Beach FES」のメインスポンサーとして活動に取り組んでいます。

この取り組みに込められた弊社の理念をしっかりとお伝えし、地域活性化および次世代育成を両輪で進めていく決意を共有しました。島外から多くの人が訪れることで地域経済が活性化し、若い世代が「この島で生きていきたい」と感じられる環境が生まれる。そのような好循環を地域全体で作り出していくことが、持続可能な因島の実現への確かな一歩だと私たちは信じています。

Engaging with Innoshima’s Future Leaders: A Dialogue on Sustainable Community Development

Today, our company participated in career education programs at Innoshima Minami and Innokita Junior High Schools, engaging in passionate discussions with third-year students about “Sustainable Innoshima.” Through dialogue exploring what our island will look like in 10, 20, and 50 years, we shared regional challenges and opportunities while gaining valuable insights from the next generation.

Envisioning a Sustainable Innoshima

The core of our dialogue focused on the grand theme of what Innoshima will look like in 10, 20, and 50 years. Students had already deepened their thoughts on the island’s future through preparatory learning, and through our conversation, they were able to make those ideas even more concrete.

Facing Current Realities

To discuss the future, it is essential to first understand the current situation correctly. We frankly discussed both the challenges Innoshima faces—population decline and an aging society—and our strengths, including a beautiful natural environment, world-class shipbuilding technology, and strong community bonds.

Creating a Flow of People to the Island: Our Philosophy Behind SHIMANAMI Beach FES

We shared our specific initiatives for regional revitalization, driven by our desire to showcase the island’s beautiful ocean and natural environment to a wider audience, and above all, to create “a flow of people gathering on the island rather than leaving it.” As the main sponsor of “SHIMANAMI Beach FES,” we are committed to driving both regional revitalization and youth development in tandem.

We firmly conveyed our corporate philosophy embedded in this initiative and shared our determination to advance both regional revitalization and next-generation development hand in hand. We believe that attracting visitors from outside the island will energize the local economy and create an environment where young people feel inspired to build their futures here—a virtuous cycle that represents a crucial step toward realizing a sustainable Innoshima.

重井工場立ち上げ期の挑戦 ― 社長が毎日牽引する朝礼と全工場巡回、そして自動化への取り組み

パイプの一次加工工場である重井工場では、効率化と品質向上を目指し、現場からバックオフィスまで全社一丸となって日々の改善に取り組んでいます。より良い製品を次工程へ、そしてお客様へと確実にお届けするため、それぞれの持ち場で絶え間ない努力を続けています。

立ち上げ期だからこそ、社長が毎日朝礼を牽引：

重井工場の一次加工部門は、まだスタートしたばかりの立ち上げ期にあります。新しい工程を確実に軌道に乗せ、強固な品質基盤を築くこの重要な時期だからこそ、社長は毎日欠かさず朝礼に立ち会い、現場の土台づくりを自ら牽引しています。

「現場ファースト」を信条とする社長は、作業者一人ひとりの顔を見ながら、その日の目標加工数や重要なポイント、安全上の注意事項を直接伝えています。立ち上げ期特有の試行錯誤や新たな課題が日々生まれる中で、トップが現場に立ち続けることで、スタッフ全員が同じ方向を向いて確実に前進できる環境を作り上げています。

朝礼では、前日までに発生した誤作事例やヒヤリハットを詳細に共有し、「なぜ起きたのか」「どう防ぐか」を全員で話し合います。立ち上げ期だからこそ、小さなミスや気づきも見逃すことなく、同じ不具合を繰り返さないための対策を早期に確立することで、現場全体の品質意識を着実に向上させています。

当工場では外国人従業員が現場の重要な戦力として活躍しており、安全や品質に関する重要な情報が確実に全員へ届くよう、必要に応じて英語での指示も行っています。言語や国籍の違いを越えて、全員が同じ目標と品質基準を共有できる強固なチームワークを、この立ち上げ期から丁寧に築き上げています。

朝礼を終えた社長は、時間が許す限り全工場を巡回：

重井工場での朝礼を終えた後も、社長の現場への向き合い方は変わりません。時間が許す限り、自社のすべての工場を自らの足で巡回し、各現場の状況を直接目で確かめています。設備の稼働状況、作業の進捗、スタッフの様子を実際に見て回ることで、会社全体の品質向上と安全管理に常に目を配っています。

この日々の現場巡回は、社長が現場を最優先に考えているという強いメッセージそのものであり、従業員にとっても大きな安心感とやりがいの源泉となっています。どの現場においても、社長が顔を出し、スタッフの声に耳を傾け、課題があれば即座に対応する姿勢を貫くことで、組織全体に「現場ファースト」の理念が深く浸透しています。

現場理解に基づくバックオフィスの自動化推進：

一方、バックオフィスでは受注から一次加工資料の作成までをより迅速かつ正確に行うため、AIやPythonを積極的に活用した業務の自動化を進めています。しかし、真に現場で役立つ自動化プログラムを構築するためには、加工現場の実態を深く理解することが不可欠です。

そのため、プログラム作成を担当するスタッフは定期的に一次加工現場へ足を運び、パイプ1本あたりの加工時間を実際に計測したり、作業者がどのような動線で効率よく動いているかを注意深く観察しています。立ち上がったばかりの現場で日々変化するリアルなデータや作業の感覚をプログラムに反映させることで、机上の理論だけでは生み出せない、現場の実情に即した実用的な自動化システムの構築を実現しています。

Recognizing the importance of this foundational period, our company president personally leads the morning assembly every single day, standing directly with workers to share production targets, safety protocols, and quality standards. To ensure our diverse international workforce is fully engaged, instructions are provided in English when necessary, fostering a unified team environment from day one.

Following each morning assembly, the president demonstrates his unwavering commitment to field-first leadership by visiting all company factories as time permits. This hands-on approach ensures that quality standards and safety practices are consistently maintained across all operations while reinforcing the company’s core philosophy that the workplace always comes first.

Simultaneously, our back-office team is leveraging AI and Python technologies to streamline order processing and documentation workflows. 私たちの重井工場では、パイプ一次加工現場の品質向上と生産効率の最大化を目指し、社長自らが外国人労働者への直接指導に取り組んでいます。

現場の最前線に立ち、製造の根幹を担う一次加工の精度を高めることで、より良いモノづくりの実現に日々挑戦しています。

指導の目的と背景：

一次加工における製作ミスの撲滅は、私たちにとって最重要課題のひとつです。一次加工の精度が低ければ、その後の二次加工（製品製作）現場へのスムーズな納品が妨げられ、全体の生産ラインに影響を及ぼしてしまいます。

そのような事態を未然に防ぐため、社長が直接現場に足を運び、作業者一人ひとりに対して丁寧な指導を行っています。

大浜工場屋根増設工事の進捗報告 ― 製品品質と保管環境向上への取り組み

現在、弊社大浜工場におきまして、製品保管環境のさらなる向上を目的とした「屋根増設工事」を進めております。

雨風などの外的要因から製品を確実に保護し、安定した品質維持を実現するための重要な取り組みです。

工事の目的：

本工事では、以下の点を主な目的としております。

雨天時における製品への影響防止
作業環境の改善による安全性・効率性の向上
安定した品質管理体制の強化

鉄骨工事の品質と技術力：

このたび、作業現場における粉じんや金属粒子などの有害物質から作業員の健康を守るため、防塵マスクの「フィットテスト」を実施いたしました。
フィットテストとは、防塵マスクが作業者の顔に正しく密着しているかを科学的に確認する試験であり、呼吸用保護具の効果を最大限に発揮させるために欠かせない工程です。

DX推進と業務最適化に向けた取り組みのご報告

このたび、業務効率化およびDX推進を目的として、レイテクソリューションズ株式会社様との定例会にて以下の取り組みを進めました。

今回は、工事台帳・支払管理アプリの実運用に向けた最終調整に加え、Google Workspaceを活用したセキュリティ強化、さらには最新の生成AI活用に関するデモンストレーションを実施いたしました。

1. 工事台帳・支払管理アプリの運用整備
今期からの本格稼働に向け、以下の仕様と運用方針を確定しました。

入力仕様の確定
　税込金額から税抜金額を自動算出する機能や、支払先ごとの「締日」「カテゴリー（勘定科目）」を選択式で入力できるよう改善。
データ移行
　過去データはExcelより取り込み、今期よりアプリでの運用を開始いたします。
操作レクチャー
　現場での円滑な導入を目指し、従業員向けに操作説明を実施していただきました。

2. Google Workspaceによるセキュリティ強化
情報資産の適切な管理体制を確立するため、以下の施策を進行中です。

共有ドライブへの移行
　データ所有権を会社の有料アカウントに帰属させるため、共有ドライブを作成。スムーズな移行をサポートする解説動画・資料もご提供いただきました。
アプリ権限の移管
　AppSheetアプリのオーナー権限を、個人アカウントから正式な管理アカウントへ移管する手順を確認いたしました。

3. 資金繰り表（日繰り表）の自動化検討
経理業務の効率化を目指し、支払データを活用した自動集計ロジックの構築に着手します。

「Bill One」導入までの間も、予実管理が可能な体制を整備

4. 生成AI（Gemini・NotebookLM）の活用
業務効率化および社内リスキリングに向け、最新のAIツールを活用したデモを実施していただきました。

3. Automating Daily Cash Flow Management
To reduce the manual burden on accounting staff, we started developing a system that:

Converts app-based payment data into a cash flow format automatically
Ensures budget tracking and financial management even before the full rollout of Bill One

4. Exploring Generative AI for Business Efficiency
We introduced AI tools as part of both operational improvements and internal reskilling efforts:

Gemini: Demonstrated analysis of Excel-based data
NotebookLM: Showcased meeting audio summarization

中国・済南で見た世界最先端のものづくり ― Boarder社視察と現地文化体験

いつも当社ブログをご覧いただき、賛ありがとうございます。 2025年9月23日から26日にかけて、中国済南市のレーザー切断機メーカー「Boarder社」への視察を行いました。

驚きと感動の品質管理体制

Boarder社を訪れて最も印象的だったのは、その徹底した製品管理と品質へのこだわりです。
「中国製＝品質が劣る」といった先入観は完全に覆され、むしろ日本以上に繊細な対応と高精度なものづくりに取り組んでいる姿勢が随所に見られました。まさに「メイド・イン・ジャパンを超えた」と感じるレベルでした。

圧倒的な生産体制とプロフェッショナリズム

済南市だけで200社以上がレーザー機器を製造している中で、Boarder社はそのトップ企業として君臨。
同社はわずか17年で年商3,000億円規模へと成長し、チャイニーズドリームを体現しています。

現地スタッフの皆様は、一人ひとりが高いプロ意識を持ち、自社製品や担当分野に対する責任感と情熱を感じさせてくれました。
見学中の質問にも真摯に対応し、知識と経験をもとに丁寧な説明をいただくなど、その姿勢に深い感銘を受けました。

ユーザー目線の設計とサポート体制

視察の合間には、済南のローカルな食文化にも触れることができました。
街のレストランや屋台では、日本ではなかなか味わえない料理の数々に挑戦。見た目のインパクトに驚きながらも、現地の食文化に触れる貴重な機会となりました。

また、寺院や山頂からの絶景にも出会うことができ、済南という街の歴史的・自然的な魅力も体感しました。

おわりに

Boarder社の視察を通じて、中国企業の急成長とグローバル志向、そして「ものづくり」に対する真摯な姿勢に触れることができ、大変有意義な体験となりました。

今後の製品選定や開発にもこの経験を生かしてまいります。

Challenging the “Made in China” Stereotype: Site Visit Report to Boarder’s Laser Cutting Machine Facility

From September 23 to 26, 2025, we had the opportunity to visit Boarder, a leading laser cutting machine manufacturer based in Jinan, China.

What impressed us most was their unwavering commitment to quality control and manufacturing precision, far exceeding common assumptions about Chinese-made products. In fact, their attention to detail rivaled, and in some cases surpassed, that of Japanese manufacturers.

Boarder has grown into a 3-billion-yen annual revenue company in just 17 years, becoming a true symbol of the “Chinese Dream.”
Among the highlights of our visit was the professionalism of the staff—each individual demonstrated a deep sense of responsibility and pride in their work, answering questions with enthusiasm and sharing their expertise in a clear and thoughtful manner.

Moreover, Boarder emphasizes user-centric design and strong after-sales support, including a bold 5-year free warranty, reflecting their confidence in product reliability.
With pricing at around 60% of comparable Japanese models, the balance of cost, quality, and support was striking.

This visit gave us valuable insight into the evolving manufacturing landscape in China and the strong global ambitions of companies like Boarder. We look forward to applying these learnings in our future projects.

感謝と交流、そして地域への貢献 ― 社内バーベキュー開催報告

いつも当社のブログをご覧いただき、誠にありがとうございます。

2025年9月22日、因島で開催された「因島水軍まつり」にあわせて、当社では社内バーベキューを実施いたしました。

当日は、日頃より当社の工場で真摯に、そして熱心に業務に取り組んでくださっているフィリピンからの技能実習生や特定技能の外国人社員の皆さんも参加され、和やかで活気あふれる交流の場となりました。皆さんの努力と誠実な姿勢が、日々のものづくりの現場を支えてくれていることに、改めて心より感謝申し上げます。

バーベキューでは、ジューシーなお肉に加え、地元因島で長年愛されている『ミチフク』様よりご提供いただいたコロッケやハムカツ、さらには社長自らが腕をふるった焼きそばなど、バラエティ豊かな料理を囲みながら、笑顔あふれる時間を過ごしました。

夜には「因島水軍まつり」の名物である花火が盛大に打ち上げられ、参加者全員が感動とともに一日を締めくくりました。

なお、当社は今年も例年同様、花火打ち上げ用のバージ（台船）の提供を通じて、本祭りの運営に貢献させていただいております。地域と共に歩む企業として、今後も感謝と敬意をもって、多様な文化・人材との共生を大切にしてまいります。

Gratitude, Connection, and Community Contribution — Company BBQ at the Innoshima Suigun Festival

On September 22, 2025, our company hosted an internal BBQ event in conjunction with the Innoshima Suigun Festival.

The gathering was joined by our dedicated international colleagues, including technical interns from the Philippines and employees under the Specified Skilled Worker program, who work earnestly at our factory every day. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for their commitment, sincerity, and vital contributions to our manufacturing operations.

The BBQ featured a delightful spread of juicy meats, croquettes and ham cutlets provided by Michifuku—a beloved local butcher in Innoshima—as well as yakisoba prepared personally by our company president. The event was filled with smiles and meaningful conversations.

As night fell, the sky was lit up by the festival’s spectacular fireworks, bringing a moving close to a memorable day.

As in previous years, our company contributed to the festival by providing a barge for the fireworks launch. As a company deeply rooted in the community, we remain committed to fostering diversity, mutual respect, and cultural exchange.
