At Shigei Factory, the company president is personally providing hands-on training to foreign workers in the pipe primary processing department. The main objective is to eliminate manufacturing errors at the initial processing stage, ensuring smooth delivery of high-quality components to the secondary processing (product manufacturing) line.
While language barriers exist, effective communication is achieved through foreign employees who understand Japanese, serving as bridges to convey the president’s instructions to all team members. Drawing on decades of field experience, the president is directly transferring precise and efficient manufacturing techniques, demonstrating the company’s commitment to quality improvement and continuous excellence in production.

This free-admission festival will be held on July 19-20, 2026, featuring over 30 artists, Japan’s largest wakeboarding competition, and spectacular fireworks. With a focus on community revitalization and youth development, we continue to seek volunteers and supporters to join our mission of creating an unforgettable summer experience in Innoshima.
Roof Expansion Project at Ohama Factory – Enhancing Product Protection and Quality
We are currently undertaking a roof expansion project at our Ohama Factory to improve product storage conditions and protect materials from rain and other environmental factors.
This initiative aims to enhance product quality, improve workplace safety, and increase operational efficiency. A key highlight of the project is the high-quality steel framework constructed by our skilled professionals — the same expertise that underpins our work in land-based steel structures and shipbuilding block fabrication — ensuring outstanding durability and structural integrity.
The project is progressing smoothly, and upon completion, it is expected to significantly strengthen our quality control capabilities and overall working environment. We remain committed to continuous improvement through strategic facility investments and advanced engineering, in order to deliver reliable products and stable supply to all of our valued customers.
At Anzai Industries, we place the highest priority on the safety of each and every employee.
To protect our workers from harmful substances such as dust and metal particles commonly present in the workplace, we recently conducted a “fit test” for dust masks. This test scientifically verifies whether a mask is properly sealed to the face, ensuring that respiratory protective equipment performs at its full effectiveness. It is an essential step in maintaining a safe working environment.
The Importance of Fit Testing
Prevents the risk of dust entering through gaps in the mask
Maintains consistent protection even during long hours of work
Raises awareness among workers about proper mask usage
At Anzai Industries, we will continue to uphold high safety standards and remain dedicated to creating a workplace where all employees can work with peace of mind.
We sincerely appreciate your continued support for Anzai Industries throughout the past year. Thanks to your trust and encouragement, we have successfully welcomed the new year. As a member of the local community, we remain committed to fostering strong relationships and delivering reliable value.
In 2026, we aim to embrace change and tackle new challenges. We will continue to enhance our workplace environment so that every employee can work with peace of mind and strive to produce even higher-quality products.
On January 5th, we held a safety prayer ceremony led by Oyama Shrine at our headquarters and all factory locations:
Headquarters Office
Shigei, Ohama, Setoda, and Yuge Factories
We have made a fresh start with a firm commitment to an accident-free and safe operation throughout the year. We wish you a fruitful, healthy, and peaceful 2026.
Thank you for your continued partnership.

Challenging the “Made in China” Stereotype: Site Visit Report to Boarder’s Laser Cutting Machine Facility
From September 23 to 26, 2025, we had the opportunity to visit Boarder, a leading laser cutting machine manufacturer based in Jinan, China.
What impressed us most was their unwavering commitment to quality control and manufacturing precision, far exceeding common assumptions about Chinese-made products. In fact, their attention to detail rivaled, and in some cases surpassed, that of Japanese manufacturers.
Boarder has grown into a 3-billion-yen annual revenue company in just 17 years, becoming a true symbol of the “Chinese Dream.” Among the highlights of our visit was the professionalism of the staff—each individual demonstrated a deep sense of responsibility and pride in their work, answering questions with enthusiasm and sharing their expertise in a clear and thoughtful manner.
Moreover, Boarder emphasizes user-centric design and strong after-sales support, including a bold 5-year free warranty, reflecting their confidence in product reliability. With pricing at around 60% of comparable Japanese models, the balance of cost, quality, and support was striking.
This visit gave us valuable insight into the evolving manufacturing landscape in China and the strong global ambitions of companies like Boarder. We look forward to applying these learnings in our future projects.
Gratitude, Connection, and Community Contribution — Company BBQ at the Innoshima Suigun Festival
On September 22, 2025, our company hosted an internal BBQ event in conjunction with the Innoshima Suigun Festival.
The gathering was joined by our dedicated international colleagues, including technical interns from the Philippines and employees under the Specified Skilled Worker program, who work earnestly at our factory every day. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for their commitment, sincerity, and vital contributions to our manufacturing operations.
The BBQ featured a delightful spread of juicy meats, croquettes and ham cutlets provided by Michifuku—a beloved local butcher in Innoshima—as well as yakisoba prepared personally by our company president. The event was filled with smiles and meaningful conversations.
As night fell, the sky was lit up by the festival’s spectacular fireworks, bringing a moving close to a memorable day.
As in previous years, our company contributed to the festival by providing a barge for the fireworks launch. As a company deeply rooted in the community, we remain committed to fostering diversity, mutual respect, and cultural exchange.
Photos and a video from the day are included above. We invite you to enjoy the smiling faces of our team and the breathtaking fireworks that lit up the night sky.
