SHIMANAMI Beach FES 2026 Announced: A Passionate Vision for Empowering Communities and the Next Generation
We are pleased to share highlights from our recent radio program “Thanks Buddy,” where we introduced the upcoming SHIMANAMI Beach FES 2026.
The event will be held on July 19–20, 2026, and admission will be free. Set on the beautiful shores of Innoshima, the festival will feature a wakeboarding competition with athletes from across Japan, live performances by well-known artists, and an enhanced fireworks display at sunset.
A key aspect of this event is the active involvement of local students as volunteers, providing valuable opportunities for personal growth and community engagement.
The festival continues to gain nationwide support from companies and artists who share a passion for revitalizing the region.
We are currently welcoming volunteers and sponsors to support this initiative.
We look forward to welcoming visitors to Innoshima this summer and sharing an unforgettable experience together.
On March 22, 2026, Anzai Industry held its 8th Golf Competition at Matsunaga Country Club. A total of 80 participants across 20 groups attended the event, creating a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships with many companies from both the land-based and shipbuilding sectors.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Matsunaga Country Club and approximately 30 sponsoring companies for their generous support and contributions. Thanks to their cooperation, the event became a memorable experience for all participants.
This year, we also promoted digital transformation (DX) in the event’s operations by eliminating traditional paper-based processes. Specifically, we introduced a Google Forms-based registration system and developed an in-house event information website. This enabled participants to access rules and player information via their smartphones even during play. In addition, we built our own participant check-in system, which contributed to more efficient operations and smooth event management.
Although there was some rain toward the end of the day, the competition concluded successfully without any major issues. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants and everyone who supported the event.
The next golf competition is scheduled for November 2026, and we look forward to welcoming your participation.
Anzai Industry remains committed to fostering meaningful connections and enhancing engagement with our valued partners, while continuing to improve operational efficiency through digital initiatives.
LED Lighting Upgrade at Shigei Factory: Enhancing Productivity, Safety, and Energy Efficiency
We are pleased to announce the installation of 12 LED spotlights at our Shigei Factory, where primary pipe processing is conducted. This upgrade was carried out with a primary focus on improving productivity and workplace safety, along with enhancing energy efficiency.
The new LED lighting significantly improves visibility, enabling more accurate work, reducing human error, and contributing to a safer working environment. In addition, it reduces energy consumption and maintenance costs due to its high efficiency and long lifespan, while also supporting environmental sustainability by lowering CO₂ emissions.
With this improvement, the factory has become a brighter, safer, and more efficient workplace. Anzai Industry remains committed to continuous facility enhancements that support safe, productive, and environmentally responsible manufacturing.
Next-Generation Leaders Shine in Surprise Radio Broadcast
In a recent episode of the radio program Shimanami Thanks Buddy,
sponsored by Anzai Kogyo, featured three members of the company’s next generation of leaders: Executive Director Ryo Nakamura, Shohei Ko from the Okayama Factory, and Sho Hakoda, who works at the Iwagi shipbuilding site.
The broadcast began with an unexpected situation. Although the company president had been scheduled to appear, he intentionally did not join the program as part of a small surprise challenge. The three guests were left to continue the broadcast without their usual facilitator.
Despite the sudden change, the three calmly carried on the conversation, sharing insights about their daily work, the values they uphold in the field, and the teamwork that supports Anzai Kogyo’s manufacturing operations. Their discussion highlighted the company’s culture of encouraging challenges, learning through experience, and supporting personal growth.
Listening from another room, the president reportedly watched the broadcast with a smile as the three leaders demonstrated composure and strong teamwork—qualities that reflect the strength of Anzai Kogyo’s workplace culture.

An AI-Built In-House PDF Tool Created by a Non-Engineer in About One Hour
We are pleased to announce the launch of a new secure, AI-powered in-house PDF processing tool designed to improve daily operational efficiency.
Notably, this tool was created by a non-engineer administrative staff member using AI, in approximately one hour. This initiative demonstrates how AI can empower on-site staff to quickly transform real operational needs into practical solutions, even without specialized programming expertise.
All processing is completed entirely on the user’s local computer. No files are uploaded to the internet or external servers, making it safe to handle confidential and sensitive documents. The tool continues to operate offline, clearly proving its secure, local-only design.
Key features include PDF splitting, merging, compression, page extraction, deletion, and reordering. No installation is required, and the tool can be launched simply by opening an HTML file from a shared folder.
Through initiatives like this, we will continue to promote practical, secure, and staff-driven DX efforts that enhance productivity while protecting critical information.
At Anzai Industries, we place the highest priority on the safety of each and every employee.
To protect our workers from harmful substances such as dust and metal particles commonly present in the workplace, we recently conducted a “fit test” for dust masks. This test scientifically verifies whether a mask is properly sealed to the face, ensuring that respiratory protective equipment performs at its full effectiveness. It is an essential step in maintaining a safe working environment.
The Importance of Fit Testing
Prevents the risk of dust entering through gaps in the mask
Maintains consistent protection even during long hours of work
Raises awareness among workers about proper mask usage
At Anzai Industries, we will continue to uphold high safety standards and remain dedicated to creating a workplace where all employees can work with peace of mind.

As part of our DX (Digital Transformation) initiatives, we are pleased to announce the launch of our new internal portal site, now available in four languages: Japanese, English, Tagalog, and Cebuano.
This portal serves as a centralized platform for important announcements and company-wide updates. It offers multilingual support and a responsive design, enabling employees to conveniently access information from smartphones or tablets—anytime, anywhere.
In addition, we are planning to launch Anzai Industry’s official Facebook page to share updates not only with our international employees but also with their families and friends. The page will highlight daily life, work scenes, and events in Innoshima to help build a stronger sense of connection and trust.
We remain committed to advancing digital innovation while fostering a more inclusive and transparent workplace environment.
Attending the 60th Anniversary Event of the Shigei Elementary School Trumpet Band
On Saturday, January 17, 2027, Shigei Elementary School in Innoshima held a commemorative event celebrating the 60th anniversary of its trumpet band. Our company president, Mr. Anzai, was invited as a guest of honor.
The Shigei Trumpet Band has been a cherished symbol of the local community for six decades, bringing music and inspiration to generations. Mr. Anzai, a former band member during his 5th and 6th grade years, shared a deep personal connection with this milestone event.
In 2010, Mr. Anzai donated 18 trumpets to his alma mater and has since supported the school’s music program through funding for repairs and the production of a commemorative photo album. His contributions have helped sustain an environment where children can enjoy and grow through music.
As Shigei Elementary prepares to close in the spring of 2027 after 150 years of history, this anniversary event marked a heartfelt farewell and a tribute to the school’s enduring legacy. Anzai Industries remains committed to supporting the local community and the next generation.
Radio Appearance Report: Kicking Off 2026 with a Spirit of Bold Challenges On January 9, 2026, our President Shuichi Anzai and Executive Director Ryo Nakamura appeared as guests on FM Fukuyama’s radio program “SHIMANAMI Thanks, buddy.”
The theme of the day was “Bold Declarations for 2026.” Without a prepared script, the discussion highlighted our company’s commitment to embracing the unexpected—what we affectionately call “mucha-buri,” or bold challenges.
President Anzai shared his belief that growth stems from attempting what’s never been done before, while Executive Director Nakamura reflected on his own journey of taking on unfamiliar work in construction steel, encouraged by the spirit of “just try it.”
Founded in the shipbuilding industry, Anzai Industry now handles diverse metalwork including steel structures and welding. We bring together people from all walks of life, leveraging their unique skills and perspectives to innovate in manufacturing.
At the end of the program, President Anzai vowed to keep initiating challenges, while Executive Director Nakamura pledged to meet them head-on—a fitting mindset as we enter a new year full of possibilities.
We look forward to continuing to grow with our community, supporting youth and challengers from all backgrounds, and forging a safer, higher-quality future through manufacturing.
