2026年9月4日、弊社協賛のラジオ番組「しまなみサンクスバディ」にて、10月に開催される「第3回しまなみ映画祭」の詳細が告知されました。ゲストに、しまなみ映画祭 実行委員長の岡野さやかさんをお迎えし、今年の見どころやラジオで初解禁となったビッグニュースについてたっぷりお話していただきました。

熱狂のビーチフェスからバトンを繋ぐ映画祭
先日開催された「しまなみビーチフェス」は、過去最高となる大勢の来場者数を記録し、終了後もSNSではアーティストや参加者からの熱い投稿が溢れるなど、未だにその熱気が冷めやらぬ盛り上がりを見せています。
弊社社長 安西も「本当に多くの皆さんに支えられてできたフェスだった」と感謝の思いを語りました。そして、この熱気と地域への想いを引き継ぐ形で、秋のビッグイベント「しまなみ映画祭」へとバトンがつながります。

 

多彩な楽しみ方ができる今年のしまなみ映画祭
今年で３回目を迎える「しまなみ映画祭」は、10月の週末を中心に3週間にわたって開催されます。しまなみエリアの島々や沿岸の美しいロケーションを巡りながら、食との絶品コラボや、波音と星空に包まれてのキャンプ体験など、「映画を五感で楽しむスタイル」となっています。また各会場では「アドベンチャーライド」「ごちそうの森 山歩き＆イノシシ解体ツアー」や「SUP体験」など様々なイベントも開催予定です。

 

今回のラジオで解禁となったビッグニュース！
因島会場では、ディズニーの最新話題作が上映されることが決定いたしました。
映画館のない島の子どもたちに「本物の映画体験を届けたい」という実行委員会の強い想いが実を結び、高いハードルを乗り越えて奇跡的に実現した大ニュースです。
ぜひ会場に足を運んで親子で映画を楽しんでいただければと思います。

3rd Shimanami Film Festival: Highlights & Big Announcements Revealed
This year’s Beach Fest recorded a record-high number of visitors, and even after its conclusion, social media continues to overflow with passionate posts from both artists and attendees, showing that the excitement has yet to cool down. President Anzai expressed his heartfelt gratitude, saying, “It was a festival truly made possible thanks to the support of so many people.” Passing along this energy and deep connection to the local community, the baton is now being handed over to the major autumn event, the “Shimanami Film Festival.”

While the Shimanami Film Festival has traditionally been held in September, this year it will take place over three weeks, centered around weekends in October, allowing visitors to enjoy movies while traveling around the beautiful island and coastal locations of the Shimanami area. In addition, big news was announced: the latest blockbuster Disney film will be screened at this year’s Inoshima venue. Born from the Executive Committee’s strong desire to deliver an “authentic moviegoing experience” to children living on an island without a cinema, this miracle was achieved after overcoming significant hurdles.

The Executive Committee Chair shared the following message: “The charm of the Shimanami Film Festival is that you can experience it with all five senses—not just by watching movies, but by swimming in the ocean, eating delicious food, and enjoying breathtaking scenery. Markings its third year, we are bringing an even more updated experience, so please come visit with your family and friends!”
